September 18, 1925 ~ August 25, 2012

Fern Muzzell Penrod passed away August 25, 2012 surrounded by her family.  Fern was born September 18, 1925 in Vineyard, Utah to Gerald and Sarah Ellen Martin Muzzell.  She married Grant B. Penrod on July 15, 1943.  Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  

She is survived by her husband, Grant of Pleasant Grove; seven children: Donna, Linda, LaRae, Darrell, Kelly, Barry and Nickie and 114 grandchildren; two sisters: Mae Louise and Colleen. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 12:00 pm in the Garden Stake Center, 1028 W 1000 N, Pleasant Grove.  Family and friends may attend a viewing Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 S 300 E, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Thursday from 10-11:30 am.   Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.

I only just heard about the passing of Aunt Fern and am so sad. She was a fun lady who could always make me laugh. She was also a wonderful friend to mom when they did their snowbirding together in the winters. I will miss her a lot. My love and condolences go to Uncle Grant and all my cousins and their families.
