Adalia Delois Jensen Johnson, 93 of Pleasant Grove passed away at her home March 19, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 20, 1922 in Centerfield, Utah, the third child to Ole Hyrum and Delois Rasmussen Jensen. Her youth was spent in Marysvale, Skull Valley and Junction. After graduation from Piute High School, she married James Wallace Johnson from Circleville on June 11, 1940 in the Manti Temple. She and Wallace had their first four children while they lived in Circleville. Wallace joined the Navy during World War II leaving Adalia to raise the boys. The family moved to Pleasant Grove in 1952 where two more children were born. Adalia began working at the American Fork Hospital in 1956 on the maternity floor and loved helping mothers with their new babies. She helped welcome many babies to the world in the 30 years she worked at the hospital and after retirement she served as a Pink Lady. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her loving and giving nature will always be remembered. She enjoyed camping and fishing and loved spending time with family and friends. Adalia will be greatly missed and will live on in our memories.\n\nShe is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 75 years and five children, Mike (Karen) of American Fork, Mark (Eilene) of Mesa, Arizona, Russell (Eileen) of Highland, Candyce (John) Johnson of Orem, and Craig (Jana) of Pleasant Grove, daughter in law Judy Johnson of Kalamazoo, Michigan and brother Bernard (Eloise) of Sequim, Washington. She has 30 grandchildren, 92 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Pat in 2009; 3 grandchildren, Chris, Jodi and Melissa and by her siblings: Dathel Thomas, Delmore Jensen, Gay Beardsley.\n\nThe family would like to thank A+ Hospice Care and their staff, especially Sheila and Paula for the care they provided during her last days as she was comforted in her home.\n\nFuneral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 am in the LDS Chapel located at 325 East 500 North, Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may attend a viewing Friday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to services.
