Our precious mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend Anna May Nelson Covington returned to her Heavenly realm on October 9, 2015. She was born to David Thomas II and Ruby Alberta Luke Nelson on November 21, 1940 in Provo. She was the sixth of nine children. She attended Provo schools and cosmetology college. She married Raymond Bruce Covington on June 8, 1961 in the Logan LDS Temple. During her life she lived in several states due to Ray having wanderlust.\n\nThey were blessed with three daughters and a son and traveled extensively as a family. The sunshine of her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending time with each and every one of them. Her passion was to take each grandchild to Disneyland. She is survived by her four children: Toni Covington, Orem; Tracy Covington, Pleasant Grove; Donald Covington, Spanish Fork and Julia Frary, Orem; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren: five siblings: Beverly Bird, Sandy; Shirlene Sinjem, Littlefield, AZ; Roberta Nelson, Nathrop, CO; Joyce (Everett) Miller, Orem; Owen Nelson, Provo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; two grandsons, two great grandsons and a great granddaughter.\n\nFuneral services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Pleasant Grove Second Ward Chapel, 455 East 200 South, Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may attend a viewing Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
