Annette Fern Sessions Warburton Shoell, 79, of Pleasant Grove passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.\n\nFern was born November 18, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA to Leslie and Wanda Topham Sessions. She married Keith Gean Warburton on June 10, 1959. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and they were married for 52 years. They had three beautiful children, Scott, Blake and Kalyn.\n\nFern graduated from Provo High School in 1955. She went to Excel Beauty College on a scholarship and was a hair dresser for 50 years.\n\nShe was active in the LDS church and held many callings. She taught in the Blazer and Cub Scout programs for 13 years and was the first woman in Pleasant Grove to receiver the Silver Beaver Award which she was very proud of.\n\nFern enjoyed doing many different crafts and hobbies. She loved to travel and being outdoors, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.\n\nAfter the passing of Keith, she met an old school friend and married Ronald Shoell on October 16, 2012. In March 2014 she began her fight with cancer, lung, breast and liver. She fought hard and her fight ended on January 10, 2017.\n\nShe was loved by many and will be greatly missed.\n\nFern is survived by her husband Ronald Shoell; three children: Scott (Deanne) Warburton, Blake (Judy) Warburton and Kalyn (Wade) Warburton; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Keith, parents and siblings.\n\nFuneral services will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Grove Creek Second Ward Chapel, 500 North 700 East, Pleasant Grove where family and friends may attend a viewing from 10:30 am-12:45 pm prior to services.
