B. Donald Sorenson of Pleasant Grove passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014. He was born October 24, 1933 in Salt Lake City to Bernard and Klea McGrath Sorenson. He was the second of three children.\n\nHe graduated from South High School in Salt Lake City. He married the love of his life, Marilyn Taylor, July 9, 1983. They were later sealed in the Timpanogos Temple, December 31, 1999. Together they had three children.\n\nDon worked from a young age in the Pharmaceutical industry as a salesman and worked his way up to Regional Manager for Cardinal Health.\n\nHe enjoyed being outdoors. His hobbies included golfing, boating, swimming, hunting and spending time with his family. Nothing surpassed his love of Colter Bay, Wyoming or Christmases at Little America in Salt Lake City; traditions he passed onto his family.\n\nDon is survived by his wife Marilyn; their children; Jordan Donald, Justin Floy (Alyssa) and Jamie Christine (Jonathan) Lowe. Four grandchildren; Dylan, Ezra, Colter and Benson. His sister, Peggy Colleen Sorenson and his sisters in law; Helen Taylor, Christine Taylor and Mandy (Jason) Parry and their children. From a previous marriage; Robyn Young (Dino), Chris (Randy) Forbes and Cathy (Rick) Lambourne, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Glenn Sorenson.\n\nFuneral services will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Garden Sixth Ward Chapel, 905 North 500 West , Pleasant Grove with a viewing one hour prior to the services. Family and friends may also attend an evening viewing Monday, March 17 from 7 - 8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove.
