Benson Smith Obituary (2025

Our precious son, Benson Brian, was born stillborn at 28 weeks, on April 2nd, 2025. Though he never took a breath, he changed our lives forever with the love, hope, and joy he brought us in his short time here with us. Benson is deeply loved and missed by his parents, Kaden and Sheridan Smith, his big brother, Russell, his grandparents Kirk & Rebecca Smith, Tiffannie & Brian Schofield, Kiel & Chalyce Coomes, and great grandparents, Stanley & Mary Kaye Smith, and James & Deniece Schofield. He was prayed for, longed for, and is now safely held in the arms of our Savior. We will forever wish he could spend his life here on earth with us, but we trust that we will see him again and we look forward to that great day. Benson loved when we listened to music, ate popsicles, and especially loved listening to his mom read bedtime stories to big brother, Russell, every night. We were looking forward to getting to know him and his personality more. We will always remember him as what we dreamed of: the best little brother and buddy to all of us. We will always hold Benson close in our hearts and find comfort in God’s promises. We will miss you always, sweet boy. We love you. Private services will be held with close family.
