Bliss Jarvis Brimley Hansen Obituary (1926

Bliss Jarvis Brimley Hansen, 87, of Provo passed away peacefully Saturday, March 1, 2014. Bliss was born June 11, 1926 in Spanish Fork to Samuel P and Hannah Shepherd Jarvis. She married Don E Brimley on April 19, 1945. Don passed away in 1990. She married Ronald G Hansen on June 26, 1993. Bliss grew up in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. She worked for many years as a Legal Secretary. Bliss was a devoted member of the LDS Church and was an avid genealogist. She served faithfully in many callings including Stake Relief Society President. Bliss was a selfless, loving and compassionate person who always put the needs of others first. She is survived by her husband, Ronald G. Hansen, Provo. His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Provo; daughter, Judy (Gary) Ridge, Pleasant Grove; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew raised as her own 3 children. 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild: Karen Maxfield, San Diego; David (Veronna) Jarvis, Provo and Patricia (Craig) Nielsen, Pleasant Grove and brother, Gary Jarvis, Monroe, Utah. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Pleasant Grove East Stake Center, 825 South Loader Drive, Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may attend a viewing Friday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to service.
