Boyd Wayne Matthews age 51, of Murray Utah, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday November 26 2013 with his family by his side.\n\nBoyd was born July 18, 1962 to Earl Wayne and Hannah Beth Monson Matthews in Pleasant Grove Utah.\n\nBoyd made everybody's world a more beautiful place, both inside and out. Whether he was creating a beautiful space with his gifts in interior design, helping the young men in detention or being a pillar and example for those in recovery, he loved his careers and fulfilled them with passion and confidence. His beautiful, mischievous smile, his kind eyes, his open loving heart and his gentle manner made it so easy to feel safe and loved around him. Boyd had a witty, charming humor that made it impossible for anyone around him not to laugh along with him. He had a personality that lit up a room when he entered and made others smile.\n\nHe is survived by his loving partner of 16 years Dwight Lindsay, his 6 children Zachary Matthews, Jantzen Matthews, Hannah Matthews, Allan Lindsay (Rubi), Michael Lindsay (D'Laina), and Rachael Lindsay, and his 2 dogs Paco, and Gabby. He is also survived by his loving brothers and sisters Gayle, Joyce, David, Lynn, and Jeanette.
