Carma Lea Slaugh Einerson Obituary (1928

Carma Lea Slaugh Einerson, our loving mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014. She was born August 1, 1928 in Vernal, Utah to Henry Ivory and Katherine Abplanalp Slaugh. She married John Einerson on March 17, 1947 in Vernal, Utah. Jack passed away on October 31, 1996. Carma Lea grew up in the Basin and graduated from Unitah High School, Class of 1946. She was an immaculate housekeeper and loved her children and grandchildren. She spent many hours reading, quilting, and sewing. Carma Lea and Jack enjoyed camping and fishing in earlier years, especially in the Basin. She is survived by her son, Mark; daughter, Roxan (Randy) Spafford; five grandchildren: Morgan (Steffanie) Einerson, M. John Einerson, David (Jill) Einerson, Macae (Casey) Hall, Ann (Kyler) Tolman; great grandchildren: Landon, Kate, Aspen, Levi, Sage and Siri and her brother, Glen H (Diana) Slaugh. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Shauna Einerson, sister, Betty Alexander and dear friend Joan Beck. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove where friends and family may attend a viewing one hour prior to services.
