Cathy Irene Eddington, 70, passed away peacefully at her home in Pleasant Grove, UT on Wednesday, July 26th. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born May 11, 1947, the daughter of Blaine W. and Dorothy M. Baldwin.\n\nCathy was well known for being selfless, giving and loved everyone unconditionally. She was a natural caregiver and spent her career in healthcare where she spread cheer and healing to anyone she came into contact with. She was passionate about healthcare and helping the sick.\n\nIn her free time she loved spending time with her husband and family. She loved nature and enjoyed camping and going on nature rides to look at wildlife.\n\nCathy was a true disciple of Christ and was an example to all around her of living a Christ like life. She served in many callings, including as Stake primary president where she loved working with the children. She also served alongside her husband when he was called to be a bishop in a BYU young single adult ward.\n\nShe is survived by her loving and devoted husband Jerry Eddington. They shared almost 50 years of marriage together. Together they were blessed by 4 children Wayne, Paul, Jennifer and Timothy. They were also happily blessed by their grandchildren Alec, Hannah and Ethan and one great granddaughter Parker.\n\nFuneral services will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Grovecreek Fourth Ward Chapel, 942 North 500 East, Pleasant Grove where family and friends may attend a viewing from 11:30 a.m. - 12: 45 p.m. prior to services.
