Claudia Bea (Fisher) Simmons Obituary (1943 - 2020)

Claudia B Fisher Simmons, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. Claudia was born November 16, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Troy Charles and Beatrice Edith Monson Fisher. She married Rex Marks and together had five children. They were later divorced. She married James Simmons in 1981. They were later divorced. Claudia grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah and Sandpoint, Idaho and attended schools there. She was active earlier in life enjoying golf, jet-ski, boating, crocheting and most of all - family gatherings. Claudia loved to laugh and make other people laugh - she could tell a story with the best of them. After her stroke, Claudia was light-hearted and good natured, despite her difficult circumstances. She is survived by her four children: Claudia (Kevin) Baker, Kim (Chris) Alexander, Cheryl Kingery and Rex (Terri) Marks; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; siblings: Beatrice Fisher, Kandi James, and Kaye Fugal. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Keelie Marks and two brothers: Jan Fisher and Gary Fisher. Due to Covid -19 restrictions, private family services will be held at a later date.
