Crew Harker Parks Obituary (2014 - 2020)

Born July 17, 2014 in Orem, Utah, Crew charmed everyone he met with his quirky personality, quick wit and kindness. Everyone who knew him was drawn to him, and he instantly became a staff favorite at the hospital. He loved his family and friends fiercely and was always full of affection. One night, after his father helped administer one of his IV medications, he sighed and said: "Dad, when we're together, it feels like love." His favorite activities were anything that had to do with Thomas the Tank Engine. If you asked him his favorite toy, song, or show he would reply: "The answer will always be Thomas." He also loved to jump on the trampoline and ride his Ziggle. He was often found playing with his siblings, cousins and friends and loved to have outdoor adventures with them. He is survived by his parents Aaron and Ashley Parks, and siblings: Finn, Kate and Rex; Grandparents: Brook and Kathleen Harker; Terry and Lana Parks; Ellen Chadwick; Tom Morris; and many adoring cousins, aunts and uncles. We are so thankful for everyone at Primary Children's Hospital who loved Crew and cared for him so diligently--their tenderness and kindness made his experience not only manageable but at times truly joyful. We are eternally grateful for the knowledge of forever families and look forward to the day when we can hug our Crewbie Doo again. A viewing for Crew will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. in the Northridge Second Ward Relief Society Room, 1780 North 165 East, Orem, Utah. Please be aware that masks are required if you are attending Crew's viewing. Due to Covid-19 restrictions private family services will be held later that day. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
