Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend, Dauna Day Swensen passed away April 10, 2015 at her home in Pleasant Grove surrounded by her loving family. Dauna was born January 29, 1922 in Parowan to Heber and Lovisa Jolley Day. Dauna married her high school sweetheart Leland Walker Swensen on June 14, 1939. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Dauna was a devoted and faithful member of the LDS Church.\n\nShe is survived by four children: Jimie (Bob) Swensen, Dauna Kay (Gordon, deceased) Woffinden, Mary Ann (Paul) Doyle and Lyman (Dottie) Swensen; son-in-law, Robert Walker; 20 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren and 50 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leland; daughter, Karen Walker; a granddaughter, four great grandsons and two great great granddaughters.\n\nOur sweet mother and grandmother lived a life filled with nearly every imaginable experience. She was a woman of such strength and integrity. Words could never express how very much we love, adore, and will miss her.\n\nGraveside services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
