Delma Rosetta McGrath Shoell passed away at the age of 89 on Thursday, October 22, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Junius and 3 children, Terry Shoell, Sharon Mason and Sharee Bullock, six Grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She is preceded by one granddaughter.\n\nShe was born and raised in Long Beach, California. Here is where she met and married her husband, Junius Shoell of Lindon Utah and enjoyed 73 years of marriage. During World War II Delma and her husband moved to Lindon, Utah to run the Shoell family farm. One of her many duties was bailing hay. During this time she also bailed hay on farms all over Utah County.\n\nHer passions were traveling, fishing and camping. One of her favorite destinations was Alaska in which she visited 3 times. She also spent many hours piloting the boat while her family fished. She was a member of a local Good Sam's Chapter "The Happy Hobos." She was also a snowbird, making the trek down to Arizona every winter for 15 consecutive years.\n\nShe had a very big heart and would spend hours crocheting lap blankets for seniors. 100's of lap blankets were distributed all over Utah County because of her kindness.\n\nLater, her passion was Wednesday trips to Wendover on the "Fun Bus". She loved playing games, especially card games. She had quite a competitive streak and was well known for always winning. She will be greatly missed.
