Donnieve "Donna" (Hanson) Hardy Obituary (1933 - 2020)

Donnieve "Donna" Hanson Hardy, 87, of Pleasant Grove passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Donna was born February 5, 1933 in Provo, Utah to Harold T and Zora K Hanson. She married Rodger Hardy on June 29, 1951 in Orem, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Donna grew up in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1951. After her marriage to Rodger, they moved to Pleasant Grove where they raised their four children. Donna was a friend to everyone and known for her sweet presence and fun-loving spirit. She was loved by all who knew her. Donna had a firm testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the eternal nature of families. Most important to her was her love for her family and all the special moments spent with them. She is survived by her three children: Marsha (Marvin) McClure, George (Sondi) Hardy, and David (Laurie) Hardy all of Pleasant Grove; 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Zora Hanson; husband Rodger Hardy; son, Alan Hardy and daughter-in-law Deanna Terrell Hardy; grandson, Kraig Hardy; great grandson, Dawson Lindstrom; siblings: Leon Hanson, Stan Hanson and Linda Kelsey.
