Earlene Hansen, 71, of Lindon passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at her home. She was born March 13, 1943 in Lehi to Earl and Gladys Colledge Thomas. She married Craig M Hansen on July 26, 1962 in the Manti LDS Temple.\n\nEarlene grew up in Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School in 1961. She enjoyed caring for others and worked at the Utah State Training School and Alpine Care Center. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, camping and fishing with her family and watching all sports.\n\nShe is survived by her husband Craig Hansen of Lindon; four children: Lisa Hampton, Lindon; Brett (Michelle) Hansen, St. George; Chris (Nicole) Hansen, Lindon; Derek (Jaclyn) Hansen, Orem; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; father, Earl Thomas, Lehi; three siblings: Sue (Perry) Rigby, American Fork; Ed (Geri) Thomas, Lehi and Jeff (Sharolyn) Thomas, Orem. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelli Sunday and two grandchildren: Amy and Dillon.\n\nWe would like to express our gratitude to all of the dedicated staff at Alpha Omega Hospice and Timpanogos Regional Hospital.\n\nFuneral services will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Lindon Fourth Ward Chapel, 731 East Center Street, Lindon. Family and friends may attend a viewing Friday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to services.
