Beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Elaine Webb Ash, 92, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in her home surrounded by loved ones.

Born September 22, 1933, in Lehi Utah, she was the third child in a family of one brother and three sisters to faithful and loving parents, Vern William Webb and Effie Duella Wray. Elaine spent the majority of her early years in Lehi Utah. Her brother passed very early in life. She and her sisters assisted with the family farm and enjoyed the association of many cousins and close friends. It was in her teenage years, she met the love of her life, Donald B. Ash. After dating a few years and while they were both attending university, they married on June 8, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They recently celebrated their 70th Anniversary. After residing for a short time in Germany and various other towns in Utah they settled in Pleasant Grove Utah. Over the years, five children were joyfully welcomed into the family; two daughters and three sons.

Elaine graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Business and English. She lived a remarkable life filled with service to church, family, friends and community. She had a love for reading, gardening, cooking and a grateful appreciation for the beauties of the earth including the many beautiful flowers she and her husband would grow around their home. Her most cherished time was spent with her husband and family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will always remember her deep love for each of them individually.

Later in life, she and her husband served at the Mount Timpanogos Temple, the Missionary Training Center in Provo Utah and later in the Bangkok Thailand Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints teaching the English language and working in educational development and other charities. She had a great love for the Thai People, their culture, food and developed many lasting friendships. She spent her life refining her discipleship of Jesus Christ and has a strong love for her Savior. She was a ministering angel to many.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents; an infant brother and 3 sisters, Shirley Southwick, Janet Norton and Marva Aikens. She is survived by her Husband Donald B. Ash; her children Leann Larsen (Allen) of Bountiful Utah; Kevin D. Ash (Denise) of Highland Utah; Allen Ash (Elizabeth) of Lehi Utah, Kathleen Porter (Max) of Gilbert Arizona; Kyle Ash (Chantel) of Bend Oregon; plus 17 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
