Faye Ferguson Reeve, 84, of Pleasant Grove passed away Saturday, October 14, 2016 at her home. Faye was born April 30, 1932 in Provo, Utah to Forrest and Margaret Hutchings Ferguson. She married Robert Bruce Reeve and together had six children. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.\n\nFaye grew up in Orem and attended Lincoln High School. She and Bruce made their home in Pleasant Grove where they raised their family. Faye was an amazing homemaker and her family remembers her skills in the kitchen. Her meals were delicious. She worked many years at the old Ben Franklin dime store in Pleasant Grove. Faye made her home a welcoming place for all the community and many remember the big Santa Claus on the roof of the Reeve home. Her grandchildren remember her celebrating the most random of holidays in order to get the family together.\n\nFaye especially enjoyed being a foster grandmother to many of the residents of the Utah State Training School, now the Utah State Developmental Center. She was a little league score keeper, a scout den mother, an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother.\n\nFaye was a devoted member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings during her life.\n\nShe is survived by five children: Terrance (Kathy) Reeve, Boston, MA; Susan Lewis, Orem; Leland Reeve, Henderson, NV; DeAnn Carsey, Salt Lake and David (Louise) Reeve, Pleasant Grove; 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; siblings: Margie Faussett, Pleasant Grove and Nolan Ferguson, Orem. Faye was preceded in death by her husband Bruce and daughter, Barbara.\n\nFuneral services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Timpanogos Seventh Ward Chapel, 315 East 500 North, Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may attend a viewings Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and on Thursday at the church from 9:30-10:45 am prior to services.
