Glen Gray Obituary (2022) - Pleasant Grove, Utah

Glen Dean Gray, 67, of Pleasant Grove, Utah passed away on December 22, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Glen was a blue-collar, selfless, hardworking, family man. He believed in doing things correctly. Measure twice, cut once. He held many jobs but took most pride in his machinist work, most recently with Varex Imaging, helping create components of X-ray imaging systems, which benefit millions of people everyday. He did not command a presence in a room, but he carried with him a calm confidence that made everyone around him feel safe. While he had a passion of auto performance and speed, he was also an avid outdoorsman. From side-by-side riding with his friends, to camping and fishing with his family. He was a country boy stuck in the city. Glen also had a love of golf, whether he was playing a round himself or watching it on television. He loved to show off his swing with the grandkids at Top Golf. Nothing overshadowed his love and adoration for his grandchildren. They will always be his number one priority and purpose. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and continually sought for truth. He will be forever remembered for his example of great strength, perseverance, and courage, especially through the storms of his life. Glen is survived by his wife Nancy Hunter Gray, his three children Brandon (Summer) Rushton, Laci (Michael) Liechty, and Trevin (Madeleine) Gray. Glen was preceded in death by his parents Dean Charles Gray and Mary Creer Gray. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel, 3950 W. Cedar Hills Drive Cedar Hills, Utah. with a viewing from 9:00 - 10:45 am prior to the services. Interment will be held at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
