On Monday, March 20, 2017 Gregory Lee Carley (Greg) our loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend returned home to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father at the young age of 37 in his Pleasant Grove home after valiantly fighting Multiple Sclerosis and eventually PML (a rare disease caused by MS treatment). He was a devoted and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he held many callings in which he impacted and mentored many people, especially the youth.\n\nGreg was born in Heber City, Utah on November 15th 1979 to Steven Lee Carley and Debra L. Webb Jensen. He moved from Heber City to Orange County, California in 1986 and to Texas in 1994. Greg returned to Utah in 1996 where he graduated from American Fork High School in 1998.\n\nGreg married the love of his life Amberly (Chipman) Carley in the Mount Timpanogos Temple in 2000 where they were sealed for time and all eternity. They chose Pleasant Grove to raise their family. They were blessed with three beautiful children, Ashlynn LaNell, Mitchell Gregory, and Colt Steven. Greg was such a proud husband and father; his family was the light of his life.\n\nGreg was a great man who gave, served and loved with his whole being. His perspective on life and hilarious humor made him extremely likeable. His smile, sincerity, and protective nature made him the ideal family man. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his amazing wife Amberly, who stood by his side with the most loving heart through it all. He was the hardest worker we knew. He followed his dreams and continued a legacy by starting a family trucking business (Carley & Sons, Inc.) alongside his best friend, mentor and dad in 2002. He spent 19 years driving truck and learning all there was to know. He passed on his knowledge and love for trucks to a select few that were so blessed to learn from "the best". He leaves behind a legacy of love for family, hard work, service, and selflessness. Greg will be missed and loved beyond measure.\n\nGreg was preceded in death by his brother; Ernest Wayne Carley, and many grandparents and loved ones. Greg is survived by his courageous wife Amberly of 16 years and three kids, Ashlynn, Mitchell, and Colt, His father Steven (Carrie) Carley, Mother Debra (Jerry) Jensen, Brother Steven Shaun (Kelly) Carley, Jeff Carley, April (Randy) Collins, The Chipman family, many nieces and nephews who adored him.\n\nFuneral services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Northfield Stake Center, 105 West 1800 North, Pleasant Grove.
