Helen Taylor was born on September 16, 1945 in Los Angeles, California to Floy M. and Lola Carson Taylor. Helen was one of the first students in Alpine School District's special education program. She proudly graduated from LDS Seminary. She spent many years at Danville and Rise Workshop Centers, where she made numerous friends. Although life was often difficult, Helen met each challenge with determination and courage. Her family and friends have had their lives forever blessed by her presence.\n\nHelen spent the last year of her life residing in American Fork at the Stonehenge care facility. Our family will be forever indebted to the staff for the exceptional level of care she received. We take great comfort in the knowledge that she has joyfully reunited with her beloved parents.\n\nShe is survived by her sisters Christine Taylor, Marilyn Sorenson, Mandy (Jason) Parry and loving nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother in law B. Donald Sorenson. "When your sojourn on earth is completed and your message imparted to all, then as humble and pure as you left God, you'll return to his presence again."\n\nFuneral services will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East Pleasant Grove, Utah.
