James Willard Wooten Jr. was born July 31, 1952 in Chattanooga, TN. He passed away at the age of 65 in Pleasant Grove, UT. He is survived by his wife, Beth Nielsen Wooten and 5 kids Will and Kaedee Wooten, Josh and Mikaela Wooten, Emalee and Scott Null, Megan and Dee Evertsen, and Joanna and Michael Pratt and 18 grandchildren and his siblings Carolyn and Richard Harshberger, Rodney and Becky Wooten, Ginger and Ray Brown, and Jane and Michael Yockey. He was proceeded in death by his parents James Willard Wooten Sr. and Jo Aleene Wooten, his brother Matthew Wooten, and Grandson Matthew Null.\n\nHe served an LDS mission in California Oakland Mission. He served in various callings in the church. He had a very strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He enjoyed spending his time with his family, painting, and writing.\n\nHe joined the Army, but was medically discharged. He was a skilled stone mason. He took some art classes. He was a hard worker and enjoyed helping others.\n\nHis funeral services will be held on Saturday September 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with a viewing before from 8-9:45 a.m. at the 400 East 500 North, Pleasant Grove, UT.
