Jesse Colter Burgon

Jesse Colter Burgon was born March 6, 1982 to Paul and LaDell (Byington) Burgon, in Vernal, Utah.

He was raised and educated in Pleasant Grove Utah and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School with the class of 2000. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Barcelona, Spain.

On June 25, 2004 he married Sallie Ann Behm in the Salt Lake Temple. They have five children, Azzlyn (13), Caelyn (13), Axil (11), Colter (8) and Porter (6).

They have spent the last 6 years in Williston, North Dakota, where Jesse worked for NOV as a lead engineer and district manager. He has been serving as a counselor in the bishopric in the Williston 2nd Ward. He was active in his community whether it was being involved with community sports, fostering children, the boy scouts or simply being a friend to everyone he came in contact with.

We will miss Jesse's tenderness, beautiful smile, and his enthusiasm and love for family. He loved his God, Family and Country.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 27, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Highland 22nd Ward Chapel, 9621 North 6050 West, Highland. Family and friends may attend viewings Sunday evening at the church from 6-8 pm and on Monday from 9:30-10:45 am prior to funeral services. Interment will be in the Highland City Cemetery.
