Junius Leland Shoell Obituary (1922

Junius Leland Shoell, born January 13th 1922 of Lindon, Utah, passed at the age of 94 on Friday, the 29th of April 2016, peacefully at his home. He is survived by his sister, Beth Shoell Carter of Lindon, three children, Terry Shoell, Sharon Mason and Sharee Bullock, seven Grandchildren and many Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded by his dear wife Delma Rosetta McGrath Shoell. He was born and raised on a small farm in Lindon, Utah. Junius met Delma while he was in California working. Not long after they were married he served his country during WWII. Later he and his wife came back to Utah to run the Family farm. He built his home near his parents in Lindon where he ran the farm and also worked at Geneva Steel and raised his three children and enjoyed 73 years with his wife. He had a passion for the outdoors and a great love of fishing. One of his favorite ways to spend time with his family was on the water at some of the local lakes. He had many stories of fishing and camping with his family, some to this day are unverifiable. Some of his favorite trips were the three fishing adventures in Alaska. He had a love for family. He always was concerned for the wellbeing of his children and grandchildren. He never really said it vocally, but you could always tell his love for his family especially when he laughed from a tease to his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lindon City Cemetery, 600 North 200 East, Lindon. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com
