Karen Paxton Sullivan, 75 passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 due to natural causes in Richfield, Utah. Karen was preceded in death by Melvin James Sullivan, her husband in 2009. Karen was born February 27, 1941 to Thomas Cleon Paxton and Ellen Jane Hepworth in Fillmore, Utah. Karen is survived by her 6 children, Jay Sullivan, Michael (April) Sullivan, Lauri Krein, Patrick Sullivan, Marie Nelson, Karli Vickers (Charles) and grandchildren and great grandchildren.\n\nKaren married Melvin James Sullivan on August 17, 1959 in Ely, Nevada. Karen loved camping and spending time in the outdoors, where she and Mel would camp and fish. Karen enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Karen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving the Lord.\n\nGraveside services will be held Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery located at Camp Williams, 17111 S Camp Williams Rd, Riverton, Utah.
