Karen Mae Anderson Tidwell, 63 passed away peacefully at her home in Hurricane, Utah September 13, 2017. Karen Mae was born in Salt Lake City to Lawrence Leland Anderson and Elsie Denning Anderson. Sister to Wayne (Susan), Kent (Cindy), Theron (Cathy) and Boyd (Marilee). Karen Mae attended Cottonwood high school.\n\nSoon after graduating she married the love of her life Wendell Tidwell. Karen was a loving mother to Terry (Tiana), Tyler (Amanda), Tami (Adam) Myers and Tiffany (Jon) Scoville and an amazing grandmother to her 11 beautiful grandchildren.\n\nKaren worked in the insurance industry for many years, but her main focus was always her family. She spent the best years of her life in West Valley and South Jordan while she was raising her children. Karen Mae loved to laugh and found joy in every situation despite her debilitating health. She will always be remembered as the fun grandma, the loving mom and the favorite aunt. Special thanks to her friends and ward family in the South Jordan Parkway stake.\n\nShe is survived by her loving husband Wendell, her children and grandchildren. Karen was preceded in death by her son Tyler, her parents Lawrence and Elsie, her brother Wayne and his wife Susan.\n\nAn evening viewing will be held Monday, September 18, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the South Jordan Utah Parkway Stake Center, 9894 South 2700 West, South Jordan with a viewing from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
