LaRae (Peterson) Adams Obituary (1933

LaRae Peterson Adams, 83, of Orem passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2017 at her home. She was born May 8, 1933 in Provo, Utah to Harold and Edna Bott Peterson. She married Kenneth Max Adams on June 30, 1955. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. LaRae grew up in Provo and graduated from Provo High School. She and Kenneth lived their adult life in Orem where they raised their four boys. LaRae was a devoted member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings. She made many life-longs friends as a volunteer at the Orem Senior Center. LaRae loved spending time with her family in the outdoors and enjoyed countless fun times at their cabin in Schofield. She is survived by her four sons: Curt and Debbie Adams, Salem; David and Kathi Adams, Salem; Sheldon Adams, Provo and Eric Adams, Orem; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two siblings: Nadine and Willard Call, and Larry and Sandy Peterson. LaRae was preceded in death by her husband Ken and daughter-in-law, Calleen. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Cherry Hill Sixth Ward Chapel, 1650 South 200 East, Orem where family and friends may attend a viewing one hour prior to services.
