LaRee Hunt

LaRee Bjarnson Dix Hunt passed away peacefully in her sleep in Cedar Hills, Utah on September 12th, 2024. She had just celebrated her 95th birthday surrounded by her adoring children. LaRee was born on August 21st, 1929 to Frank and Eva Bjarnson in Springville, Utah. She is a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend.

She leaves behind her sons Gary (Monica), Brent (Rhonda), Mark (Pamela) Dix, and her oldest and only daughter Sherrie (Steve) Atkinson and daughters-in-law Julie and Teresa Dix. She also leaves a legacy of numerous grand, great, and great-grandchildren. She is reunited with her late husband Charles Agustus Hunt, brother Max, (Lu Deane), son Russell, and granddaughter Katie.

LaRee is forever proud of her large and loving family. Always the proper hostess and an avid lover of dance, our “Dancing Grandma” tapped and twirled throughout her joyful life. She never said a bad word about anyone. She was always so grateful, kind and & thoughtful to everyone. LaRee lived her life smiling and happy.

LaRee Bjarnson Dix Hunt will be missed.
