LeaAnn Grace Obituary (1954

On December 21, 2019, we had to say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend LeaAnn Grace. She was born July 15, 1954 in American Fork, Utah to Myron and Una Nielsen Crystal. LeaAnn was the youngest of three children and grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah. LeaAnn grew up with a deep love of Animals and nature. She was part of a 4-H group and attended many events and parades with her horse Chico. LeaAnn loved to go camping, hunting and fishing with family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and crafting in her spare time. In December 1983 she met the man who adored and worshipped her for the rest of her life, Jody Arnold Grace. They were married one year later on December 8, 1984 and have been madly in love ever since. Jody brought a young daughter, Meranda and LeaAnn contributed 3 children, Leona, Denna, and David, to make a forever family. Jody and LeaAnn raised their family in Lehi, Utah and it has grown to include 12 grandkids and 6 great grandkids with another on the way. LeaAnn absolutely adored all of her grandchildren and was always giving them life lessons. She loved to help anyone in need. There were times where she would make sure a family had something to give their kids for Christmas or to make sure there was food on the table. Even if she could not afford to buy and give to someone in need, she would go help clean a house or run errands. LeaAnn had a heart of gold and touched anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. LeaAnn was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and brother. She is survived by her husband Jody Grace, three daughters and one son: Leona (Cass) Larson, Denna (Dave) Williams, Meranda Grace, and David (Crystal) Jenkins. There are numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, Sister Myra (Verl) Penrod, and many loving nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Timpanogos 1st ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints Building, 332 East 500 North, Pleasant Grove, Utah. A viewing will precede the services from 11:00 am - 12:45 pm. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
