LeeAnn Illingsworth Ray, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, passed away on February 27, 2017.\n\nLeeAnn was born on January 13, 1951 in American Fork Utah to her father David Nephi Illingsworth and Mother Uana Blanche Nielson Illingsworth.\n\nShe was the middle child with an Older Sister Jean Illingsworth Dye and her Younger Brother David Illingsworth. She married Charles Leonard Ray on September 9, 1977 in the Salt Lake Temple; they have been married for 39 years.\n\nLeeAnn was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She and her husband always tried to help support young missionaries on their mission in the family and the ward. She was also a Loyal and Hardworking employee for Natures Sunshine where she worked for 19 years.\n\nShe was a devoted wife and mother. She was Charles side kick, wherever he went she was right there beside him. The two loved to travel and visit with love ones, you would never see them without her dogs Missy and Reagen which she loved so dear, but have both passed away.\n\nLeeAnn was so joyful when she found out that she was going to become a mother to a child that was born in El Salvador that they named, Matthew Charles Ray. She had always wanted to be a mother and she was. She loved her son with all her heart and did her very best to show that. She and her husband were blessed to have family members to help support and guide them to become amazing parents to him.\n\nLater in life LeeAnn began developing health problems where her hands became harder to use, she then developed cancer which she did overcome. Even though LeeAnn struggled with challenges they did not stop her, she learned to work with them and made the best of it.\n\nShe had so much love from her ward and family members. She was indeed a very strong woman. We will miss you deeply; we love you more than you will ever KNOW. Till we meet again.\n\nLeeAnn is survived by her husband, Charles Leonard Ray, Son, Matthew Charles Ray and his wife Karen J Ray, Grandson Ivan O Keller and Granddaughter Symarah S Ray. Her Sister, Jean "Timothy" Dye and brother David "Colleen" Illingsworth. She was preceded in death by her parents David and Uana Illingsworth.\n\nFuneral services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS Chapel located at 828 S. Locust Ave Pleasant Grove, Utah with a viewing from 9:30 -10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
