Lorna Nell Hafen Fotheringham Obituary (1933 - 2021)

Lorna Nell Hafen Fotheringham, 87, of Lindon passed away peacefully Monday, May 24, 2021 at home. Lorna was born June 18, 1933 in Springville, Utah to Virgil Otto and Hazel Nell Chapman Hafen. She married Robert William Fotheringham on September 5, 1952 in Springville and together they had four children. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple on September 14, 1961. Lorna was raised in Springville and graduated from Springville High School in 1951. Lorna was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She especially enjoyed her time working in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. Lorna was an artist and loved painting outdoors scenes. She also spent many hours crocheting items for family and friends. She is survived by her three children: Robert (Debra) Fotheringham, American Fork; Kelly (Julie) Fotheringham, American Fork and Laurie (Russell) Shelton, Lehi; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Fotheringham, daughter Sherry Fotheringham Jensen and her son-in-law, Roy Jensen. Family and friends are invited to a viewing for Lorna, Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 12:00-1:30 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove.
