Lorraine was born January 16, 1923 the third of three children to Thomas Grafton Hansen and Annie Barton Hansen in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She was raised in American Fork. She graduated from American Fork High School. She was employed by US Steel's Geneva Plant as a secretary during World War II.\n\nAfter the war ended she married her sweetheart Dwaine F. Williams in the Salt Lake Temple November 13, 1945. They built their home in Orem Utah where they resided and raised their family of four children. Mom worked for several years at Bayly's Manufacturing Plant in Pleasant Grove and then for Alpine School District as a school lunch worker. She was the best pie maker.\n\nThey were married for 54 years and together they enjoyed traveling after retirement. They spent the winter months in Arizona and traveled the rest of the year to other various locations with two Good Sam Clubs which they enjoyed very much. This was stopped suddenly with dad's death May 20, 1999.\n\nA special thanks to First Choice Home Care / Hospice and The Peaks Care Center of Orem for their loving care of our mother.\n\nShe is survived by her sister Roxie Russon of Lehi, her children Lynn D. (Connie) Williams, Sharleen (Dick) Allen, Annella ( Michael) Carter, all of Orem, and Tom (Carol) Williams of Salem, Utah. She had 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dwaine, her brother Kenneth Hansen and daughter in-law Patricia Williams.\n\nServices will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Windsor First Ward building, 1505 North 145 East, Orem, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:00 - 10:45 am prior to the services at the church.
