They were sealed in the Los Angeles temple in November of 1960 (married 63 years). They raised 4 children together. They moved to Smithfield, Utah in May of 1993 to be near their daughters and grandchildren. They moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah in March of 2019.
Mary Alice had a passion for music. She continuously participated in ward and stake choirs. In her spare time, she would go on long drives with her family in the mountains or along the ocean shore. She worked as a bookkeeper and secretary and her favorite jobs were at San Diego Trust and Savings Bank and J&S Asphalt. For the most part she was a homemaker and was known as the "McDonald's Grandma".
