Mary Ethel Richins Stevenson, 72, of Pleasant Grove passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014. Ethel was born the March 9, 1941 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to William and Dee Hatch Richins. She married the love of her life Roger Ray Stevenson on August 16, 1957.\n\nEthel grew up in Grantsville. She was 6th of 7 siblings. Mom was very close to her family. Her and Dad loved to camp. Which we never did without all the family around. Mom loved to cook, even tho she said she was not good at it. She loved to read, sew, crochet and knit. She was always there to help anyone. After Dad passed in 1982, Mom helped with Hospice and used her sewing talents to make slippers and blankets for nursing homes. She was a very compassionate lady. She knew her own mind and spoke it. Mom was the rock of our family.\n\nEthel raised her family of 4 in Pleasant Grove: Roger (Celeste), Danny (Sheila), Kristine, deceased (Ron, Annette) and Mindy (Erick). She is survived by 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.\n\nEthel's family will celebrate her life with a viewing held Monday, March 10th from 10:30 to 11:45 at the Timpanogos Sixth Ward Chapel, 332 East 500 North, Pleasant Grove.
