Maxine Nielson Radmall, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2023. She was born March 3, 1936, in Fountain Green, UT, and was the daughter of Dean Devere Nielson & Adele Bradley Nielson.\n\nMaxine spent much of her early life in and around Moroni, Mapleton and Springville, Utah. Upon graduating from Springville High School, she then attended BYU in Provo. She married David Weeks Radmall in 1971. They made their home in Lindon, Utah for 40 years. Maxine was a devoted mother to her daughter Susan and a proud grandmother of her two grandchildren, Austin & Abbey Earls. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout her life, Maxine was always a very adventurous woman - she could fly a plane before she could drive a car. She loved the desert southwest and spent many years there as a pilot and partner for the Canyonlands Resort near Moab, Utah. She was known for having flown several cross-country Powder Puff Derby air-races and was a proud member of the Utah Chapter of the 99’s.\n\nMaxine later spent 20+ years working for the Social Security Administration. After retiring from the SSA, she restored the Radmall Hardware building; an historic building located in downtown Pleasant Grove. She then opened Rosebud Antiques at that location. Maxine and Dave shared a love of the outdoors and spent countless nights backpacking in the Uintah mountains and the desert southwest. One of her passions was history, particularly Utah history. In her later years she could always recall stories from her youth in astonishing detail. Mom will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She instilled a love for outdoors and adventure to her family that will continue on in her absence. She is survived by her brother Roger (Nancy) Nielson, her daughter Susan (Christoper “Bo”) Earls, and grandchildren Austin and Abbey Earls. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Claire, Carol and Kay and her husband David.\n\nGraveside service will be held , Friday April 21, 2023 at 12 noon at the Lindon City Cemetery located at 600 North 200 East in Lindon, Utah. Family and friends may attend a viewing from 9:30 - 11:30am at the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. \n\nYour love for your family will never be forgotten, as well as your bright blue eyes and lovely smile.
