Michael James Smith Obituary (2021)

Michael James Smith, passed away November 28, 2021. He was born in American Fork Utah on October 24, 1980 to James Douglas Smith and Cindy Cook Smith. He attended Pleasant Grove High school and later on received his GED. He married Nicklette Goding Smith and had three beautiful children. Nickota Cherie Smith, Lilly Arwin Smith, and Draven Michael Smith. Later on divorcing and going their separate ways. Michael was a carpenter and loved building homes, he was a perfectionist in his line of work. He loved Sports and was a big Utes fan. He loved camping and music was his all time favorite and his way to express himself. He had a big heart and the tightest and best hugs. He would do anything for anybody and was always there for someone when needed. Michael loved and adored his 3 beautiful children and his beautiful baby grandson, they were his world. He had a great personality and a great sense of humor always making the people around him laugh and smile no matter how he felt. We miss him so much, he is now our guardian angel. I hope you are at peace Michael we love you so much. Michael is survived by his parents, 3 children, grandson Cayson Gage Knudsen, 4 sisters, his grandma Della Cook and numerous friends and family.. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ralph Cook, Douglas K Smith, and Dorine Oliver Smith. Michael's wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Lindon Community Center, 25 North Main Street, Lindon, Utah.
