Michele Diana Gates Jepperson Obituary (1968

Michele Diana Gates Jepperson, 46, of Pleasant Grove, Utah met her maker on Sunday, September 28, 2014 and was greeted with open loving arms of her passed loved ones. She was born January 29, 1968 in Brussels, Belgium to Arlene L. and Lyndsay F. Gates. Michele was a proud army brat and loved to reminisce about all her wonderful memories. She married her "sweetipie" Korry Jepperson April 21, 1989 and recently celebrated 25 years together. They raised three children together, Sasha (28), Debra (23) and K. Blaine (20). She has seven grandchildren: Charles (11), J.J. (10), Rily (9), Michele and Kaydence (7), Khaely (1) and Adam (1). Michele had an abundant knowledge of so many things and always had the answer to that one question you couldn't quite put your finger on. She loved to can with her mother during the summer months. If would grow it, she would can it. Michele had a deep love for her family and was the most protective Momma Bear. She would go out of her way to make them happy even if it meant that she had to sacrifice her own happiness. She was an amazing woman. Michele was one of a kind and everyone who knew her understood this. She is survived by her mother Lyndsay Gates, Pleasant Grove; Sweetie Korry L Jepperson, Orem; daughters: Sasha A. Jepperson, Am. Fork; Debra C. Jepperson, Pl. Grove; son, K. Blaine Jepperson, Pl. Grove; brothers: Bruce L. Gates, Fremont, CA and Allen H. Gates, Salt Lake City; sister: Charlene M. Gates, Ogden; best friend, Debra Clark, Pleasant Grove and good friend "Bert". Michele was preceded in death by her grandson J. J.; father, Arlene L. Gates; brothers: Charles F. "Doc" Gates, Gregory C. Gates, Ross P. Gates and grandmother, Lottie M. Carlson. We know that mom was welcomed in the loving arms of her family and that her pain was relieved. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 3, 2104 at 10:00 am in the Geneva Heights Third Ward Chapel, 857 West 800 North, Orem. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, Orem at 12:00 noon. A luncheon will be held at the church following services at 1:00 pm for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you make a donation towards the costs.
