Mrs Munn Obituary (2022) - Pleasant Grove, Utah

Joann Graham Munn Salem, 89, of Lehi, UT passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. She was born in Mossville, Mississippi to Bender and Mary Lucille Graham on February 18, 1933. She was the oldest of 12 children. After meeting the love of her life Allen T Munn, she enjoyed many adventures to far away lands. Loving the memories, she remembered until she passed. She lived in MS, NM, LA, HI, CA and finally UT. She was widowed at an early age of 54, then 3 years later was married to Art Salem only for less than 3 years and was widowed again. For most of her life she was a stay-at-home wife and mother. Then she was employed as a property manager for apartments, taking her from Arizona to California. She retired after 20 years and moved to Utah to be with her family. She was able to live off and on in Hawaii for about 4 years. One of her favorite places to live. Some of her hobbies was watching NFL sports as well as college football. She is known for her crocheting baby blankets, full size blankets, potholders, and coasters. She loved bling! She joined the red hatters which was right up her ally. Bling, crazy clothes, and fun outings! There was a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. First those grandchildren, and then the great grandchildren. Always thinking of them and finding out what their favorite candy or treat was so she would be sure to have that when they came to visit. Her family was her passion and we always had extra family for no one she met wasn't family. She loved the Lord and prayed daily along with her daily devotional. Joann was preceded in death by her husband Allen of 34 years and her husband Art Salem of almost 3 years. She is survived by one brother and one sister. Survived by her children Bender Thomas Munn (Lyn), Martin Allen Munn (Jann) and Kem Gardiner (Mark deceased). Also 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
