Natalie Marie Hortin, beloved mom, daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend passed away October 21, 2026, at the age of 37. She leaves behind a family that adores and loves her dearly. Natalie was born June 30, 1989, in Provo, Utah, to Brady Conrad Hortin and Donna Jean Dorsey. She spent her early years in Orem, Utah; Farmer, Ohio; and Northern Virginia, returning to Utah at age 11 residing in Orem and Pleasant Grove until the time of her passing.
Natalie loved being a girl. Makeup, mani/pedi’s, high heels, Victoria Secret…she loved it all. Natalie was blessed with the gift of a kind and loving nature and a desire to love and care for those around her. For many years she worked as a server and in customer service jobs and loved meeting new people and caring for them. She especially had a kind heart for children. Natalie loved road trips with her dad and her boys. She loved to develop her creative talents including cooking, decorating, and writing. Natalie loved watching Sailor Moon and Cowboy Bebo, and listening to 21 Pilots. She loved reading fantasy books, and Manga. She loved coloring in Precious Moments coloring books. Words to describe Natalie: Vivacious. Intelligent. Spirited. Talented. Determined. Sweet. Kind-Hearted. Loving. Fiercely Loyal.
Some of Natalie’s favorite memories included time spent in Oakley, Utah, hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa Hortin’s home playing in the Weber River, going to the Oakley Rodeo and having a lemonade stand on the 4th of July, and hanging with her brother Billy, her cousins and the neighbor kids. Wherever Natalie was you could be sure friends and family was close by. She loved all her cousins and had a special relationship with her cousin, Rachael Hortin. Natalie and Rachael were really more like sisters.
Natalie greatest joy in life was her children. The happiest time of her life was when she and the boys lived together in their own apartment, just the three of them. Natalie was a homebody who was happy to love and care for her children in a place of happiness and peace. Her greatest desire was to be healthy enough to be with her boys in their own home again. Bradley and Conrad were the world to her.
Natalie was preceded in death by her grandfather William Hortin, grandmother Mary Woods and grandfather Parker Woods, grandparents Benjamin Dorsey and Donna Carr Dorsey, uncle Benjamin Dorsey, and cousin Tyson Mack. She is survived by her children Bradley Connor Hortin and Conrad Leonardo Hortin; father Brady Hortin; mother Donna Dorsey Hortin; brother Billy (William) Hortin; grandmother Frances Hortin; aunts and uncles Glenn Jaspering, Amy Chapman, Karen Romney (Chris), Wilson Hortin (Patricia), Melanie Chatterton (Doug), Cissy Hortin, Kim Dorsey, Steven (Rachel) Dorsey, Scott Dorsey, Thanh Dorsey, Victoria (Marvin) Talbot, Catherine Dorsey; and many beloved cousins and close friends.
The family would like to thank those who have been involved in Natalie’s life and care from a young age including teachers, mentors, doctors and medical care providers, extended family members and all who have loved and prayed for Natalie throughout her life.
