Neva Gillman, 84, of Lindon passed away Monday, December 15, 2014. Neva was born May 18, 1930 in Bicknell, Utah to Robert Franklin and Mary Louisa Ellett Durfey. She married Garth Gillman on December 26, 1945 in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Garth passed away in 2006.\n\nNeva grew up in both Wayne County and Provo. She and Garth raised their family in Orem and Lindon. As a young couple, Neva and Garth owned and operated the Phillips 66 Service Station and CafAC. on the Lindon/Pleasant Grove border where Walkers is now located. They enjoyed golfing, fishing, dancing and mostly being with family. Neva was a devoted member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings.\n\nShe is survived by her six children: Gay Gladden, Chyleen (Bob) Mackey, Lucille (Ken) Shelley, Garth (Christie) Gillman, Laralee (Ron) Winterton, Philip (Jamie) Gillman; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and sisters, Cora Burgess and Clara Pueblo. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Patricia.\n\nFuneral services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Lindon 19th Ward Chapel, 731 East Center, Lindon. Family and friends may attend a viewing Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Tuesday one hour prior to services.
