Nohemy Delp

Nohemy (Naomi) Delp, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of Highland, Utah, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the age of 85 at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. She was born on December 6, 1940, in San Salvador, El Salvador, to Francisco Ramierez Hernandez and Bertila Cortez.

She is survived by her children, Sherye South, Jeannie Searle, and Bridget Ormson; grandchildren, Kaija Searle, Gavin Searle, Nyah Ormson, and Kohen Ormson; and great-grandchildren, Atraeus Hardman, Alakai Hardman, Araya Searle, and Canon Searle; along with her brother, Meliton Cortez Ramirez, and sister, Ana Maria Cortez de Valle. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ovidio Cortez Hernandez.

Services are under the care and direction of Olpin Family Mortuary in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Condolences may be sent to the family at olpinmortuary.com.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel; 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Family and friends may attend a viewing before the service at the mortuary from 10:00 - 10:45 AM. The interment will follow in the Lehi City Cemetery.

As a tribute to Nohemy, attendees are kindly invited to wear bright and colorful attire rather than black. Thank you!
