Orin Don Ashton, 75, of Springville, long-time Pleasant Grove resident, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015. Don was born January 30, 1940 in American Fork to James Lawrence and Reva Richins Ashton. He married Sherrie Warburton on May 20, 1964 in Orem. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple.\n\nDon grew up in American Fork and graduated from American Fork High School in 1958. He served in the Utah National Guard for 22 years and retired as 1st Seargent.\n\nHe is survived by his wife Sherrie of Springville; three children: Rachelle (Todd) Brown, Gilbert, AZ; Cory (Audra) Ashton, Heber City and Sherron (Brent) Abel, Spanish Fork; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and brother, Jim (Jean) Ashton, Alpine.\n\nFuneral services will be held Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove where family and friends may attend a viewing from 9:00-10:45 am prior to services.
