Paul W. Forbes (Mex/critter), 70, of Pleasant Grove passed away November 29, 2013. He was born July 24, 1943 to Bill and Maxine Forbes. He and his three brothers: Dan, Shane, Kim and sister Cathy were raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah.\n\nHe was in the National Guard while attending school to become a journeyman machinist. Later, he went on to meet the love of his life, Linda. Together, they enjoyed the company of others and spent many summers with the gang and three children around a campfire or on a houseboat. Chad, Monique, and Jason will remember their fathers love for the outdoors and cruising down the road on his Harley. Eleven grand kids will remember his love for history and interest in their lives. He was always someone his family and friends could count on.\n\nPaul and Linda enjoyed camping at Deer Creek with family and friends. Also, he was a loyal member of the F.O.E and enjoyed his social time there. We are thankful for the love and support he offered. He is preceded in death by: his parents, brother Shane, and grandson Kenneth.\n\nA Viewing will be held Thursday, December 5, from 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove followed by graveside services in the Alpine City Cemetery, 405 North Grove Drive, Alpine.
