Rebecca Dawn Bowers, our sweet mother, daughter, sister, and friend was born on April 21, 1981 in American Fork, Utah. She sadly passed away on November 24, 2023 at Utah Valley Medical Center with complications from pneumonia at the age of 42. Rebecca was a wonderful caring person who loved family and friends and would do anything for them. She was very artistic and crafty and made a lots of beautiful things for the people she loved. She loved the out doors and rock hunting. Rebecca had a job for UDOT working and cleaning the rest stop up Salina canyon; she loved that job and took great pride in keeping it clean. She would even go out there raking up pine cones and taking care of the little trees. Rebecca liked to collect things to help other people. She had a smile that would melt your heart! She was able to go on a cruise with 21 of her family members the week before her death and got to enjoy kissing the dolphins and spending time with family. Rebecca was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Glen Bowers, grandparents Ray and Marlene Bowers, uncle Keith Homer, and Kelly Homer. Rebeccas is survived by her son Zachary Gaisford of Orem, Grandparents Raymond and Olga Homer of Pleasant Grove, parents Robert and Valoy Bowers of Salina, brothers Michael (Sofia) Bowers of Provo, Ryan (Amber) Bowers of Eagle Mountain, Russell (Kendra) Bowers of Orem, 11 nephews and nieces, and 2 greats. How did Janna know Rebecca?

"I am Rebecca's cousin. I was a bit older than her but I remember her with my little sister all the time. They were two peas in a pod and sometimes Grandma Bowers would even make matching dresses for them. Rebecca had such a kind spirit and was so beautiful with the prettiest eyes. She will be missed by us all. Janna Bruchhauser"

Oh so sad to see this news. I always loved running into Rebecca and hearing what her latest adventure was. She so loved her son and was so grateful for her family for providing love and stability. She will be greatly missed.
