Ruby Marie Jeppson Newman Anderson, 89, of Ferron, long-time Pleasant Grove resident, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at her home. Ruby was born September 29, 1926 in Pleasant Grove to Ruben Neils and Margaret Millet Jeppson. She married Dale Leland Newman on December 24, 1945. Dale passed away March 24, 1967. She married Louis Ramorini on November 25, 1968. Louis passed away June 20, 1976. She married Donald J Anderson on October 5, 1979. Don passed away June 25, 2000.\n\nRuby grew up in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. Ruby lived in Salt Lake and worked as a telephone operator. Ruby and Dale were married shortly after he returned from his military service during WWII. They lived adult life in Pleasant Grove where they raised their four children.\n\nRuby enjoyed quilting, reading, and working in her garden. She enjoyed her time spent snowbirding in Yuma and made many lifelong friends. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many callings during her life.\n\nShe is survived by her two daughters: Marie (Bill) Hines, Ferron, Utah and Gelene Cook, Evanston, WY; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister: Neal (Sylvia) Jeppson, McKinleyville, CA; Lynn (Annette) Jeppson, American Fork and Cheryl Bartley, Modesto, CA.\n\nRuby was preceded in death by her two sons: Glade Newman and Ronald Newman and son-in-law, Moose Cook and grandson, Donald Newman.\n\nGraveside services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Family and friends may attend a viewing on Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:30 am prior to services at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove.
