Rudy Arvin Tello 30, of Orem died July 16, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born October 4, 1985 in American Fork, Utah. He was the cherished son of Sherrill Lynn Jacklin of Orem and Rafael Tello of West Valley City.\n\nRudy had a love for sports from a very young age, playing little league baseball and football for Orem Jr. High and Mountain View High School. He loved to ride his bike and longboard down Provo Canyon. During his final years he developed a passion for rock climbing.\n\nThose who were fortunate enough to have Rudy as part of their lives remember him as a caring, loyal person with a smile that brightened any room. He was deeply loved by everyone around him, especially by his immediate family and his girlfriend. His unexpected departure leaves an unfillable void in all of our lives.\n\nHe is survived by his parents; Sherrill Lynn Jacklin of Orem and Rafael Tello of West Valley City, girlfriend, Haley Manning of Salt Lake, daughter Rubie May, brothers; Travis (Sandy) Tello of Salt Lake, Brady (Mary) Tello of Bedford, MA, sister, Brianna Tello of Orem, niece Norah Tello and nephew Austin Tello, both of Bedford, MA., and nephew, Juan Tello of West Valley. Grandparents; Joyce and John Jones of American Fork, Juan and Josefina Tello of Salt Lake and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.\n\nThere will be a public viewing Friday evening, July 22, 2016 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove followed by a private service.
