Sherry Fotheringham Jensen, 60, of American Fork passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 of complications from cardiac arrest. Sherry was born July 12, 1955 in Provo to Robert William and Lorna Nell Hafen Fotheringham. She married Roy Fred Jensen on May 1, 1974 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.\n\nSherry grew up in Lindon and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1973. Sherry raised her family in American Fork and had a great love for her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother. Sherry loved to travel and although she had traveled to many places, she considered Disneyland her "Happy Place"! She loved arts and crafts and lunches and shopping with her mother, sister, daughter, and grandkids.\n\nShe is survived by her husband Roy Jensen of American Fork; four children: Brandi (Joshua) Spears, Heber City; Dustin (Kimberly Ivie) Jensen, Lehi; Derek Jensen, Lehi and Colby Jensen, St. George; five grandchildren: Sadie, Markelle, Hayden, Brynlee and Addison; mother Lorna Fotheringham, Lindon; siblings: Robert (Debra) Fotheringham, Kelly (Julie) Fotheringham and Laurie (Russell) Shelton. She was preceded in death by her father Robert W. Fotheringham.\n\nFuneral services will be held Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11:00 am in the American Fork 9th Ward Chapel, 673 East 300 North, American Fork. Family and friends may attend viewings Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and on Monday at the church one hour prior to services.
