Starlin Dawn Larsen Obituary (1996 - 2019)

Our beloved Starlin Dawn Larsen passed unexpected on December 28, 2019 as the result of an automobile accident. She was born on November 11, 1996 to Tiffany Gilles and Jasen C. Larsen and came into the world as brightly as her name suggests. Raising Star was a joy shared by her large extended family. She spent a great deal of time in the company of grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins. She also had many friends for whom she cared for deeply. Star graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 2015. She was a creative spirit and spent time creating beautiful jewelry, pottery and art. She had a tender love for animals, especially dogs Max and Heimdall. She did not always have an easy life and yet she bore her struggles and never gave up. It is our greatest sorrow that she will not live to have all the life experiences she should have had the opportunity to know. Star was preceded in death by her Grandfathers: Joe Gillies and Douglas Kay Larsen; Great-Grandmother, MaryAnn Bee all of whom we pray are there to welcome Star with open arms. She leaves behind her parents, Grandparents: Chris and Stan Mecham; Gavin and Pam Christen, Grandmothers: Joan Larsen and Rene & Jim Merryweather, Great-Grandfather, Jan Bee, and many loving cousins, aunts and uncles. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
