Sydne Ann Corn Adams

–

Pleasant Grove, Utah

Sydne was the person you could go to for anything. She was selfless above all. She was there to share a laugh, a cry, a funny story, advice, and always lots of love. She juggled the busy life of a working mother with grace. She was at every performance and every game for each one of her children. She was a source of council for so many, always waiting to give the best hug. Her sisters used her as a sounding board. Her children always knew she would show them the right path. Her parents felt comfort in the life she had built for herself. Her husband relied on her to run the household, and she did it flawlessly. She was poised, but feisty. She never strayed from what she believed in. She had so many friends and people that loved her. She was loyal and trustworthy. I believe that she had a soul full of everyone else's secrets. She had an innate ability to read people. She could see the good in people, and she was drawn to that. Laughing was her favorite source of therapy. No matter how bad things were, she always found a way to see the funny side. Her piercing blue eyes could never be forgotten. Her sweet hands were our favorite feature. Those thumbs were her signature. Above all, she had the biggest heart. Nobody loved the way she loved. Her love will live in all of our hearts forever.

Sydne was born on August 8, 1969 in Twin Falls, Idaho. She touched the lives of so many people while she was here. She left this earth peacefully the morning of October 26, 2014 surrounded by her family in a room overlooking the beautiful city of Salt Lake after a hard battle with colon cancer. You could feel the angels waiting for her.

She is survived by her husband Glen, her daughters Taelor (Cade), Madison, Olivia, her son Kaden, her parents Dave and Gayla, her sisters Amy (Clint) and Lezlie (Shawn), her nieces Hannah, Grace, and Isabel, and many other family and friends. Preceded in death by grandparents Alice and Seymour Memmott and grandmother Eve Curran.
