Teresa Johnson Devey died peacefully in Utah Valley Hospital on August 19, 2016 in Provo, Utah at the age of 51.\n\nShe was born on November 13, 1964 in American Fork, Utah to Art and Frankie Johnson. Teresa graduated from American Fork High School in 1983. She married Darren Davis Devey, her high school sweetheart in December 1983 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Teresa began working for Utah State Prison as an Office Manager. Over 33 years, the couple welcomed 4 children, and 4 Grandchildren into their home. Her children remember her as a kind, gentle, patient, and driven mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.\n\nTeresa was a generous and witty individual who loved to have spur of the moment trips with her Husband Darren. Teresa was passionate about cooking, both indoors and outdoors.\n\nShe is survived by her parents Arthur and Frankie Johnson, of American Fork; Husband, Darren Davis Devey of American Fork; Children Leisha and Beau Chadwick, Davis J. (DJ) and Terra Devey, Kamil and Colby Brockbank, Halee and Kendrick Roberts. Her 4 Grandchildren Jaylie Brockbank, Ellie Brockbank, Keaton Darren Devey, Kenley T. Roberts. Siblings Jeff Johnson, Doug and Barbara Johnson, Chris and Sandra Johnson.\n\nA viewing will be held Tuesday evening, August 23, 2016 from 6 - 8 p.m. in Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Funerals services will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS Chapel located at 455 East 300 North, American Fork with a viewing from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
